Invitation: April Book Club with Reema Zaman & Gemma Hartley
Best friend book club. Is there anything better?
Mark your calendars for April 25th - this month’s book club is with one of my longtime book besties, Reema Zaman as we discuss her brilliant memoir I Am Yours.
Many of you caught our Author Talk last month on Redefining Our Worth Without Men, which ended up being a brilliant foray into how we think about art and friendship and healing. As soon as we ended the zoom call, we got on the phone and said “We need to do more of this. SOON!”
Which made it a natural next step to bring you Reema as our guest author for The Angry Woman Book Club on Thursday, April 25th at 2pm PT/5pm ET. We’ll be discussing her memoir I Am Yours, which I cannot wait to revisit. Reema’s work is so vulnerable and powerful, and the way she talks about writing is endlessly inspiring.
I know there are so many writers who attend these talks and book clubs, and I think this is going to be an amazing opportunity to expand the way you think about art, life, and your story. Plus, it’s just good vibes when authors who really know and like each other get together and talk about craft.
If you have questions for either of us, you can ask them during the live Q&A or ask them in the comments here. A recording will be made available for anyone who can’t attend live. Stay tuned for the link to join, which will be sent out to subscribers the week of book club.
